Fresenius Health Partners (PPO SNP) covers both brand name drugs and generic drugs. Generic drugs have the same active-ingredient formula as a brand name drug. Generic drugs usually cost less than brand name drugs and are rated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be as safe and effective as brand name drugs.
The formulary may change during the year: we may periodically add, remove or make changes to coverage limitations on certain drugs or change how much you pay for a drug. If we make any formulary change that limits our members' ability to fill their prescriptions, we will notify the affected enrollees before the change is made. However, updates to our formulary are updated via a Notice of Formulary Change | en Espaņol.
